I spread my wings
But I cant fly
My broken wings
Lead me to die
To live is brave
Try not to cry
But all I feel
Is pain and lies
Angels try to lift my spirit
While demons take it to the limit
Pulling me down with all their might
Until I no longer see the light
Darkness overcomes me
The light is gone
Suffering in this tiny place
We call life
My head and heart
Are torn between
The choices
That I have to make
To stay and live
Or leave and die
Say hello
Or whisper goodbye

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
